Citrus Memorial’s Relay for Life team is hosting a Craft Sale on October 11, 12 and 13 in the hospital’s Cafeteria Meeting Room, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Come enjoy lunch and browse for the perfect gift. Craft items have been contributed by CMH employees, SHARE Club members, friends and family members. The Citrus Cancer Support Group is planning special programs for the rest of 2006. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria Meeting Room. The schedule: October 17 – Chemotherapy Drug Update, Craig McCurdy, MS, RPh November 21 – Sharing Ideas for Food & Crafts December 19 – Christmas Social Diagnosed cancer patients, cancer survivors, family and friends of cancer patients or interested community members are invited to attend the Citrus Cancer Support Group meetings Support groups give people who are affected by similar diseases an opportunity to meet and discuss ways to cope with the illness.
