    Celebrate birth at Citrus Memorial Hospital.
    If you're planning to bring a new child into this world, do it in style. Let your
doctor know you'd prefer to deliver your child at the CMH Baby Block and
Women's Center and experience the comfort, privacy and safety of single room
maternity care.

    We help make your childbirth experience special by offering LDRP rooms
(Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Post-Partum). Your entire stay will be spent in
the same lovely room. The Baby Block has five LDRP rooms, each with a private
bath. For women who prefer conventional delivery procedures, the Baby Block
also offers traditional semi-private rooms with labor, delivery and recovery rooms
and an OB\Gyn surgical unit nearby.

You and your baby will share your LDRP room in an
"at-home" atmosphere. Each LDRP room has a private
bath and shower, a table for two and a color TV. There's
even an amazingly comfortable recliner for your
significant other to spend the night.

A specially-trained obstetric nurse will be appointed to your
care and will be available to answer any questions you have
about your new baby and your recovery.

A Secure Environment
Only authorized personnel are allowed in the "Baby Block",
and the entrance doors are electronically controlled by the nurses on duty. The nurses'
station is situated adjacent to the nursery, so if you need to get some rest, your baby
will be closely monitored by both the nurse in the nursery and those at the nurses'
station.

Childbirth Education
CMH can also help you prepare for the birth of your child with our Childbirth Education
Classes. This is a four week program that meets every Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.
Instruction is provided by a Certified Childbirth Educator.
