Since its first day back in 1957, Citrus Memorial has endlessly pursued one goal: to serve its community with the very best quality health care available.
In the decades that followed, Citrus Memorial has grown and changed as it strives to meet this goal – an evolution that continues to the present. Recent years have seen the establishment of a state-of-the-art Heart Center, ever-expanding Diagnostic Imaging Services and the Sugarmill Woods Health Care facility on Highway US 19.
Citrus Memorial President & CEO Ryan Beaty said, “With all of our leading-edge services and ongoing dedication to outreach and education, we’re really much more than a hospital.”
“One of our most exciting outreaches ever will be building the Family Care Health and Education Center,” said Chris Pool, the Citrus Memorial Director of Marketing & Philanthropy. “The fundraising campaign has now exceeded the $1.5 M goal. Donations are still accepted for furnishings, fixtures and equipment for the planned Family Care Health & Education Center. The new Center will be built in Lecanto, FL. As its name implies, it will focus on health care education and family medical services.”
