golf tournament dedicatED to
pioneering Citrus memorial physician

The beautiful day matched the mood of Claire Jenkins at the recent golf tournament named for her late husband, pioneering Citrus Memorial physician Randall Jenkins, M.D. The event, held April 3 at Black Diamond’s famed Quarry Course, was part of Citrus Memorial’s two-day 2nd Annual Salute to Our Community to benefit the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation’s capital campaign and the planned Family Care Health and Education Center.
“What a wonderful tribute the golf tournament was to Randall,” she said later. “I know he was looking down and enjoying everything about it.”
Mrs. Jenkins, a member of the foundation’s Advisory Board, accepted flowers from Citrus Memorial president & CEO Ryan Beaty at a short ceremony prior to the tournament’s start. Dr. Jenkins, who passed away in 2001, was a native Floridian raised in Citrus County who joined Citrus Memorial’s active medical staff in 1962.
Winners among the 114 players in the Randall Jenkins Memorial Golf Tournament were:
First: Bear MacDonald, Don Bruschi, John Walker, Vick Tolbert
Second: Richard Pospiech, Timothy Walker, Stan Lee, Tim Walker
Third: Tom Hardy, Scott Meseroll, Steve Myers, Rich Cassidy

Citrus Memorial thanks its generous sponsors for supporting this community event.
