2 ½ cups low calorie cranberry juice
3 small pears, halved lengthwise, peeled & cored
6 stick cinnamon broken
¼ tsp ground black pepper
½ cup fresh cranberries
1 tsp vanilla
1 6 oz carton plain low-fat yogurt
2 tsp honey
½ tsp vanilla
- In medium saucepan, bring cranberry juice just to boiling. Add pears, cinnamon and pepper. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer fro 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in cranberries and vanilla. Transfer to an airtight container and chill for 2 to 24 hours. Meanwhile in a small bowl, combine yogurt, honey and vanilla.
- To serve, divide cranberry mixture and pears among dessert goblets. Top with yogurt mixture.
