Frozen Chocolate Banana Pops
3 bananas, peeled 6 ice cream sticks or wooden skewers
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 ½ tsp vegetable oil
¼ cup toppings such as chopped peanuts, sprinkles or toasted coconut
- Line small sheet pan with waxed paper or aluminum foil. Cut each banana in half and insert a wooden stick halfway into each banana. Place on sheet pan, freeze 1 hour.
- Stir chocolate chips and oil in small saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth. Meanwhile place toppings on individual plates, set aside.
- Remove pops from freezer. Spoon chocolate over each banana while holding it over saucepan.
- Roll in desired toppings and return to freezer to harden, about one hour.
