Thomas E Hendrick, MD

Wound Care
Dr. Hendrick was born at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in 1952. He grew up in Rockford, Illinois. He graduated from Duke University and Tulane University Medical School. After a USAF surgical residency in Dayton, Ohio, he was the chief of surgery at Francis E. Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming 1984-1988. Dr. Hendrick joined Inverness Surgical Association in June 1988, and was a staff surgeon at Citrus Memorial Hospital until 2010.

He was Citrus Memorial Hospital Chief of Staff in 2001 and was Chief of Surgery from 2004-2009. He has been the medical director of the Citrus Memorial Hospital Wound Clinic since June 2008 and has devoted his practice entirely to wound care since January 2010. He is a Certified Wound Specialist.
